Our ProgramApril Daycare provides a high quality and affordable program. Offering passion, guidance and support, the environment and staff support children's growth and development, socially, artistically, emotionally and physically.
Children grasp a good sense of literacy and numeracy on a daily basis through child-led happenings such as songs, arts and crafts and various activities. By the time they go to kindergarten, they know how to write their full names, parent's phone numbers, ask for help and solve a problem. Plan of Day*Monday...Walk Around Neighbourhood

- children have AHA moments
- explore the unknown for themselves, watch closely, and go closer, and touch, see, smell, hear and trust themselves and their senses.
Parents' Q: What’s the number of kids per class and how is the schedule look like?
Regarding the schedule and program, all the details are on the website, you can check our media as well to get an idea.
The program gives the children under care the benefit of choosing what and who they want to play with. We have a couple of rooms, sometimes all the children play together and sometimes they prefer to play and be on their own or with a smaller group.
At April Daycare we plan the curriculum and pedagogy, and children design and choose what they want to do. This way their power struggle diminishes, while their autonomy, creativity and agency develop positively.

Tell Us More About the Routine...
Our routine has been listed on this page, however, the scheduled times are just estimations of our activities since every single moment demands creation of new opportunity for children to learn and interact with their surrounding.
In our experiencing lab, for instance, the foundation of MindUp program goes hand in hand with children’s curiosity and imagination, to unlock their engagement in different activities and enhancement of their skills at all levels-social and emotional competencies, literacies, and so forth.

Parents'Q: What if my child does not want to nap?
We have a smooth transition between activities that enables children to feel comfortable with the routine, e. g., relaxing time. Relaxing time is the time to relax children's minds and bodies. It is between 11:30-2:30 pm based on children's needs; it can be a very short, 30-minute, relaxing on the floor for older children to a longer nap for younger ones. For those who have short relaxing time, a variety of child-led activities based on their interest and desire are offered, such as play with sand, play dough, paint, colouring, puzzle, and so forth. |
