Dear parents/guardians,
Thanks for visiting April Daycare website.

Why April Daycare?

  • We offer a wide range of lesson plans and hands-on activities based on each child's developmental stage and interest, ensuring each individual child feels comfortable, respected and engaged. Through implementing successful programs, which are children's favourites, such as Mindup and The Random Act of Kindness, educators and children get connected, bond, feel belonged and all make one learning community.
  • We work with families to effectively make the child’s transition and (parents') as smooth and happy as possible. As we believe April Daycare is the second home to children, we are committed to provide children one on one interactions, and surround them with various opportunities to feel connected, engaged and heard.
  • Gradual Entry for Children Under Three Years Old: Since we believe leaving your young loved one behind is not easy, especially the first days, the one-on-one gradual entry is one of April Daycare's complimentary free package that is offered to the registered children under three years old.
  • For children older than three years, we plan shorter days and gradually move to the full day.
  • In a nutshell: as entering to child care setting might promote anxiety differently in parents and children, gradual entry process is different from child to child and family to family and April daycare goes with parent's desire in this regard. Therefore, we plan the first days together, so children adapt to the new environment successfully.
  • Monthly Free Parent Support is another service April Daycare provides parents who desire to resolve their children's normal behaviours and do not tend to wait for children to outgrow out of those traits. Please note that these behaviours which are normal over early years, lead to serious problems in adulthood once left unresolved (Link to reserve your free parent support session).
  • Rates: The rates are approved by the government for childcare fee reduction and the government pays partially some amount of monthly fees ($600/Month for under three years old and $500/Month for 3 yrs to 5yrs).
  • Parent's Monthly Fee
  1. 0-18 months $892
  2. 18-36 months $837
  3. 36 months to kindergarten $822
  • April Daycare will go hand in hand with parents to fill out the application form for Affordable Child care Benefit and later follow ups if necessary.

Potty Learning Support
Don't worry, you are not alone. Watching a child who uses the potty is every parent's dream. April Daycare is pleased to help parents and children go through potty learning path patiently and happily.

Learning Social Skills
April daycare is so proud to help children and watching them grow out of some normal traits for their age, such as having interactions with their peers, taking turns, sharing, asking for help, keeping eye contact, etc.

Basic Literacy Development
It is very exciting when children learn to write their initials, names and friends' names. Also, they recognize months, days and very basic words all through play, songs and group dance and activities.

Letting Children Be

Zahra is such a nice teacher, and caring owner of the daycare. She is very flexible on schedules and will try her best to accommodate with things we ask. The most important thing for us is that my kids love her and the place and they are always happy when coming home or going to daycare in the morning. Will recommend to my friends and family for sure! Thank you Zahra for taking good care of the kids.
